Rio Secreto is a semi-flooded cave with stalagmites and stalactites that appear made from preciouos stones. Over a process of thousands of years as water was slowly filtrated through the roof, the rocks were slowly transformed into the magnificent formations that are there for us today. This underwater paradise can be found just 10km south of Playa del Carmen and although there is 10km of cave systerm discovered so far, only 1.5km are opne to the public.

Your professional guide will lead you inot this prehistoric world where you will walk explore and swim for approx 1hr 30 min.

Group size maximum 6 people.

Transport to the park is not included in the price. 

We recommend you take with you: hat or cap, comfortable walking shoes, sweater for the bus, towel and bathing suit, biodegradable sun cream and mosquito repellent, extra money for shopping.

Inside the cave it is forbidden to bring hats, sunglasses, flip flops, cameras and videocameras, watches, jewellery, or any bags.
